The one that started it all. The Nike Air Zoom Generation is considered LeBron’s first shoe or the “LeBron 1”. It was the very first model LeBron stepped on the court with in his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He averaged 20.9 PPG, 5.9 APG, and 5.5 RPG, and took home the Rookie Of The Year Award.

The seventh pair in the signature line was the first to feature the full length Air Max cushioning for the midsole. He wore these sneakers for the 2009-2010 NBA season where he took home his second NBA MVP trophy. (This is a personal favorite of mine)

LeBron James wore this sneaker in his second farewell season from the Cleveland Cavaliers. He debut multiple special colorways that sent the internet on a frenzy and sparked the #LeBronWatch.

LeBron James claims that the LeBron 4 was “ahead of its time”. According to Sneaker News, it was the first sneaker to feature a Foamposite upper since 2003. The grooved sole, Foamposite stability, and inner mesh sockliner was devised to maximize on-court feel. LeBron wore these sneakers on his first trip to the NBA Finals.

LeBron claims that this was “one of his most comfortable shoes”. It featured a Full-length large-volume Zoom Air with Pebax shell for optimal support. (These are one of my least favorite pairs.)

These sneakers represent a pivotal moment in LeBron James’ career. These were the sneakers he wore in his first season with the Miami Heat. This specific colorway is titled the “South Beach” and it is considered LeBron’s greatest colorway and model to the sneaker community.
